The SilverBack XL SBXL144 permanently connects 4" clay to 4" plastic pipes. Ideal in pipe bursting or pipe ramming applications, this underground product easily connects the two pipes together for a permanent and durable repair. You will no longer need to worry about soil conditions, tensile stress or heavy earth loads altering the pipes functionality as the SilverBack XL fights against all extreme conditions. The flexible coupling is made of flexible and tough PVC material and includes 316 stainless steel high torque clamps, heavy-duty steel shear ring and a gasket manufactured to meet CSA B602, ASTM D 5926 and ASTM C 1173.
