The SilverBack XL is a flexible shielded coupling used specifically for pipe bursting and pipe ramming trenchless applications. This coupling is extra-long to protect against shear forces, tensile stress, pipe alignment issues and thermal contraction / expansion. Due to is long-lasting and superior strength qualities, underground contractors feel confident knowing they only need to complete the repair once. Made of flexible PVC, this coupling includes 316 stainless steel high-torque clamps, heavy-duty shear ring and a gasket that is manufactured to meet CSA B602, ASTM D 5926 and ASTM C 1173.
